About Millennium
Empowering Communities & Individuals Through Recycling
Our Journey:
Small Beginnings, Big Impact
Founded in 1999, Millennium Recycling has transformed from a modest start into an industry leader. With our advanced single-stream process, we strive to make recycling easy and accessible for all and support communities across the Upper Midwest with their recycling programs.
Our Team:
second chances For people & materials
More than individuals, our close-knit team operates like a family, passionately working together to create a positive impact in our community. We are committed to offering second chances to both people and materials. Learn more about our Second Chance employment program here.
OUR FACILITY:
Cutting-edge Technology
As one of the most efficient material recovery facilities (MRF) in the country, we continually research and adapt to emerging technologies to stay ahead of the industry. Our cutting-edge Sioux Falls processing facility sorts thousands of tons of recyclables monthly, saving waste from the landfill and creating a better future.
Community Focus:
Beyond Processing
Our dedication to the community extends beyond the recycling process.
Second Chance Employment Program
Offering opportunities and support for people seeking a fresh start, our employment initiatives help rebuild lives.
We collaborate with local organizations to provide benefits and resources for success.
Like materials given a second chance in recycling bins, we believe in empowering individuals to find their worth.
