Program Information
CITY Program—Yankton
Program Model: The City of Yankton provides residential solid waste and recycling pick-up for approximately 4000 residential locations. Red, 95 gallon single stream recycling roll carts are provided. Solid Waste is collected in a black, 95 gallon roll cart.
How it Works: The City of Yankton utilizes semi-automated solid waste collection and single stream recycling. Garbage is collected every week, and Recycling is collected every other week on your scheduled day. Your Garbage and Recycling carts should be set out before 7:00 A.M. on the day of pickup.
CITY Requirements
Residents are encouraged to recycle but participation is not mandatory.
