Coffee Cups are Recyclable!

If your coffee cup is made of paper (not styrofoam), you can recycle it in your Sioux Falls recycling bin.

Paper cups were once thought to be non-recyclable due to their plastic lining that insulates and prevents leaks. But these cups are a source of high-quality
fiber that can be made into new products like tissue, boxes and pulp to make new cups!

How to recycle your coffee cup:

• Remove and place all plastic lids, straws and stirrers in the trash.
• Make sure the cup is clean and empty.
• Cup sleeves may be left on the cup or recycled separately.

Note: Other paper cups and paper take-out containers may also be recycled if clean and empty.
