City of Sioux Falls Education

The City of Sioux Falls has launched their public educational campaign with tools for waste haulers and the public to use.
We have verified that all of the categories they include are acceptable in Millennium’s single stream program, however there are a few items to note that may cause confusion. We wanted to clarify those for you in case have any questions:
On the Guide:
- Squirt Bottle Photo– Squirt Bottle Lids are NOT accepted in the single stream bin. They should be removed before recycling. See more info on lids here.
- Paper Bag Photo– Handles on paper bags should be removed before recycling. The string handles can jam in the recycling equipment.
