Recycle at Work

Many assume that recycling at work is the same as recycling at home.  That is not the case.  While the material composition of waste and recyclables in a residential environment is very similar from one home to the next, commercial generators have a wide variety of material streams and their needs can differ greatly from one organization to the next. 

An office building material stream is not the same as a manufacturing facility.  A retail store may have completely different items than a hospital.  Depending on the generator, their waste and recycling service needs will depend greatly on the volume of material they have and the type of material.

Our Single Stream Program is not one size fits all.  It is geared primarily for recycling at home.  In certain instances it can be incorporated into a program at work, but in many cases it cannot.
