Did you know that over 50% of waste generated in a typical home is recyclable? That's the good news. The bad news is that for many reasons, much of what could be recycled ends up in the waste stream.
The most common obstacle to recycling is convenience. No one wants to spend precious free time separating newspapers, cardboard, cans, and plastic. We all have better things to do with our time, right? Fortunately, our Single Stream Recycling Program is making recycling simple and convenient. The only separation that needs to be done is keeping your garbage and recycling in different containers.
Speaking of containers now is a great time to retire that small recycling bin and replace it with a wheeled cart. Click on our Hauler Directory for more information on all the great collectors that offer Single Stream Recycling.
For those who want to drop recyclables off at our facility, we do have a public drop box that is available 24/7. Click on the directions banner to find out where we are. The drop box is located on the north side of our building. Please refer to the other pages on our site to find out what we accept. Garbage and other unwanted items are not to be dumped at our facility.
We recycle electronics but only during our normal business hours (M-F 8:30AM-4:30PM). Please do not leave electronics outside our building.
